YMCA Steinlager Kauai Hoe Wa`a Race #7
The next upcoming race is set for Sunday Feb. 14th Valentines Day Fun Race. Registration will take place at Poipu Beach Park from 8-9am, race starts at 10am, loncourse will go from Kalapaki, change at Poipu & continue to Pt.Allen, short course will start from Poipu beach to Kukui'ula change paddler & continue to Pt.Allen. This will be a relay race, so start planning who you are gonna partner with. Age's will be combine to make categories, 59 & under, 60-79, 80-99, & 100+, mixed & same gender are welcome, Rules, if going same gender, one paddler must dress up opposite, its all for FUN, so lets have a blast with it. We are trying to get a heads-up on who is partnering with who, so please feel free to Register a.s.a.p.
**Each competitor may use their own canoe. Special change point rules will apply to partners using their own boats. Partners sharing one boat will transition in the same way we do the Kauai World Challenge;the second partner can wait in the water until the first partner passes the change buoy.
**Teams MUST come to registration with the following information: their combined ages as well as the boat number of the boat that is FINISHING the race at Port Allen.
**Combined age groups will also apply to any OC2 teams
**Paddleboarders and SUP contestants are welcome too
